Anyone used a Trailer Aid?

Saw this and wondered if anyone had used one, are they as good as they sound?

Yes, I have one. Brilliant.

I think a bottle jack for <£20 plus a couple of blocks of wood sounds a bit more sensible.
Having done the bottle jack thing at the roadside previously before I bought my Trailer Aid, I'd go for the Trailer Aid every time. It's not essential to remove the horse(s) from the trailer either, if you get a flat when out on the road where unloading would be risky. It holds the trailer rock steady while you set about changing the wheel.

This. I was given a Trailer Aid, fortunately only had to use it once and very impressed.

Yes and it's eminently safer than a bottle jack and some bits of wood when you have a live load on board! It's also much quicker. Definitely recommend. I've used mine many many times (do a lot of trailer miles) and it's a great thing to keep in the truck.

My trailer tyres are injected with some sort of gunk which instantly seals a puncture - brilliant stuff. Wouldn't work with a blow out but if your tyres are in good condition that shouldn't happen.

Doesn't that increase the rolling resistance a lot? We use that stuff in our wheelbarrow tyres, but I doubt they ever reach 5mph :D!!
