anyone used any of this to stop snow in hoof?

i was thinking if this keeps on for a bit i might be worth using the copper sulphate version of this to stop snow impaction?

That looks like a product to go under the shoe? Personally I stick to a think coat of hoof oil (on the sole of the foot!) Much cleaner and easier to use than vaseline or tar and it lasts really well.
