Has anyone used the barefoot basics website to buy from?
I placed an order and have been trying to contact them by email and phone with no response.
Should I be worried???
 
Yes, they are a total pain. Everything takes AGES to arrive and if you complain, they try to make it into your fault. I've yet to speak to anyone who finds BFB easy to buy from! They always claim they've posted things which never turn up then get huffy when you ask them to send it out again.

They used to be great, I used to stable my horse near to one of the ladies who runs (ran?) it so she used to deliver my stuff by hand. Not sure if the management/owner changed but I now deal with someone different by email and she's not very nice or easy to deal with! Don't use them anymore, use Natural Horse Supplies or Metabolic Horse instead. MH are BRILLIANT and really helpful.. very fast delivery too.
 
Thanks for the replies, I really dont know what to do now, I ordered the fit kits for measuring boots. They have my deposit money and as I cant contact them I dont even know how to cancel the order! I need to get my poor horse boots as soon as possible but it doesnt sound like it will be happening now:(
 
I have had a bad experience with them, too, all the negative feedback about slow delivery is absolutely true, so I join those who would never use it again.
 
I had the same problem, never did manage to get a response. How did you pay? I paid through paypal, so luckily was able to raise a dispute and paypal ruled in my favour and gave me a full refund.
 
Thanks I have just raised a dispute with paypal.
I am so fed up, because my horse has very different size feet I had to order the normal and wide kits so they have £200 of my money. I cant afford to order from someone else until I get this back so now my horse suffers because of it. Its enough to drive me back to metal shoes :(
 
I ordered from them 10 days ago and I've also been trying to get in touch with them to no avail. I paid through Paypal too so hopefully I'm covered.
It's the lack of communication which has really irritated me.
 
Ive tried to call but there is never an answer or answerphone to leave a message. I do t even know if they received my order!
I'll stick with Pro Earth fab service.
 
I too am waiting, placed my order yonks ago but never received it and have now opened a Paypal dispute against them. Why can't someone stop them trading?
