Anyone used Chris Pearce - Equine Vet/Dentist?

Sorry to tag onto your post but I've been recommended by my vet - who I trust totally - to have Chris Pearce fill a couple of my horses teeth.

I'm sure it's fine but as you say it always puts your mind at rest to hear from someone who's actually used the person. As it's all such a new part of horse dentistry it's difficult to get first hand experience.
 
He is very good :) I used him while he was at the Barn and continued when he went alone :) so 3 ish years I guess.

I like him and his work very much.
 
Chris has a fantastic reputation amongst horse owners and other vets. He did an amazing job with a horse of mine that had his tooth come through the roof of his mouth. He is also kind to the horses and pleasant with people. He teaches other vets and dental technicians.
 
He's absolutely fantastic! We used to use him when he was with the Barn.

In fact, he even used pictures of our elderly pony's mouth to teach his students about dental care for older horses.
 
Yes, he's great. At least he's a vet with a specialist interest in dentistry.

He was filmed (by channel 4 I think) doing my horse's (the late Dutchie) teeth and was always very thorough. He has a great knowledge of riding, bitting etc too.
 
He also won Pet Plan vet of the year! Treated my horse very well. First root canal in a horse I had ever heard of!

Saw Chris yesterday and he was really lovely. Very gentle with the horse and very thorough. Our whole examination was about 2 hours long. Typical that the problems she was seeing him for weren't too bad, but they found something else so we are being referred to Liverpool.

He was great, asked my version of the history even though he'd discussed it already with my vet. Explained he would just get on and do the work and possibly not talk much but would explain things later, this was mainly because the horse has sedation issues.

Highly recommend him.
