I have had such terrible luck this year with hay. From Sycamore and oak being in it to mouldy bales to ones they won’t eat to rats messing on it- you name it- we have had it!
I have now resorted to getting 40 bales from the above. It’s such a gamble as we can’t test it first due to corona apparently but I was wondering if anyone has used it and can reassure me I’m doing the right thing?! It is very expensive so I would hope it will be good! Anyone got any experience?!

How much is it? I would love some low sugar hay!
we payed £204 for 20 Timothy and 20 meadow. you have to buy 40 minimum. its slightly more for all Timothy and slightly less for all meadow. they say there meadow is very low sugar and soft. hence getting it for my 25 yo sec a. it seems very professional (also do haulage straw bedding etc) just hoping nothing poisonous etc hence looking on here as I have had such bad luck with all of that. maybe I'm being too picky!

I haven't used them for many years but used to get Canadian Hay from them. Service and quality was always excellent, can't imagine that much has changed

Oh it is exactly how it sounds then ahahah. What’s the difference. Is it particularly good?

It's very consistent because of the weather conditions they have to make it. Nobody would bother to pay to import poor hay, so you can depend on the quality. In bad, wet hay years before haylage was made people tried to get hold of US or Canadian hay.
