Just wondered if anyone has used Global Herb's Alphabute?
My cob mare is coming up short on her front fore leg only in trot :s and the vet can't find anything wrong with her, shes had x-rays, nerve blocking, flexion tests all of which she was fine with. She is sound in the field but short when you ride her!
She had also had 15 months off work due to this and having Laminitis last year (which wasn't brought on due to weight)
I spoke to global herbs thinking of a joint supplement and they suggested Alphabute which says it gives relief and comfort to joints and tendons. I asked them if this would just mask any pain (thinking of normal medicated bute) and they said no - I tried her on it and it does actually work thing is I'm still scared I may just be covering something up!
She is only in extremely light work (aprox 15 mins, nearly all walk twice a week) and is still totally sound when I turn her out and the next day so I don't think its hurting her but still a bit worried!
Thanks in advance
