anyone used Horsesense Saddlers, solihull?

Hi there,
I need a new saddle and my local (a whole 2 to choose from!) saddlers are a bit rubbish and have hardly any stock under 1k to try, so I was thinking about trying these guys to get a new saddle fitted as its not too far to box out. Has anyone used them, any comments?

Yep, i bought one of my dressage saddles through Horsesense.

very good and thorough, i tried about 15 different saddles before settling on the Jaguar.

not sure what they have under £1k though as they tend to have high value brands (or at least did when i went there).

They are very good but as millitiger said i think you will struggle to find anything under 1k. They have all the big brands there, Albion and Jaguar etc..

I would have hoped that would have been a decent enough budget, I do need to steer away from the extra smart brands though! We are pretty much never going to do dressage higher than novice, or jump more than 3ft so just don't need a super fancy saddle and I would worry about spending that much! Shall stick on with my search then!

I used to work there and when I was there they took saddles in part ex for new saddles so they do have second hand stock, its just not in the shop!
My friend recently bought a lovely second hand, hardly used Stubben for £500.

Hello,

I brought a saddle from there about 3 weeks ago and I was really impressed. I also had a max of £1000 to spend and I tried quite a few saddles. I ended up part 'X'ing my old saddle for a new stubben but I tried about 10 saddle (in more than one visit) before I found the right one.
