I was advised today that my horses may benefit from some sort of detox and as I'm a bit cynical and don't want to spend a fortune on this the Zeolite seems like a cheap option.

I also found Trinity Consultants whilst searching info on detoxing horses but there products were over £40 and as I have 2 horses I'm not prepared to spend this on products that may not do anything beneficial!

If anyone has tried the Zeolite I'd be interested in whether you think it had any effects :p

Thank you

Thanks JenHunt, so does it only help soothe sore tummies rather than remove toxins? The marketing talks of it more as helping to eliminate toxins from the system which is what I was hoping for.

It was only £15 so I thought it wasn't too expensive if it does help them a bit, but do you think I should have bought a detox type supplement instead?

I'm a bit confused about it all tbh!

I have been using Zeolite to help one of our horses that is prone to a touch of laminitis and can suffer with very loose droppings, it has helped to settle his tummy down.
I had seen the adverts and wondered if it could help, so called them up and got lots and lots of advice. Call them if you're not sure - 01373 827649. I also got an email from them with loads of extra info.
I understand that it clears toxins (hence good for the Lami probs) and helps make the most of nutrients in feed and other supplements so my worry about our old boy not getting enough nutrition (due to loose droppings) has helped!
Hope that helps....
