Anyone want a photoshoot with their horse or pony?

personally I like the last one best.

The jumping one has too much sky for me. It looks like the photographer has tried to be arty but failed IMHO.

Agreed with whoever said they are photos of you. The focus in these pictures is on you not your horse. Esp in photo 2. He was obviously very focused on you as he failed to notice the person stood in the background.

I did a shoot for my friend of her horses last year that are on my website. These are a couple of them. They are by no means brilliant but they are what she wanted...photos of her horse.

why would a random stranger photograph you ?

i do shoots for my friends..... thats it, any strangers i will charge - theres no way i do freebies for strangers?!!

very very strange and tbh i think this is a live and learn..... never let random strangers on your yard to do pics....something dosent sit right with me im afraid!

I'm afraid I agree. TBH I'd be taking extra care that my tack room is locked, and the yard and horses secure.. for the forseeable future. Someone early on in this post suggested taking extra care because of horse thefts etc and this is something that springs to my mind as well. I wonder what else he took photos of, besides you and the horse...
 
Like I said before thanks for all the advice etc, obv it was just a one time thing and I don't intend to see this guy again. The photoshoot was last month and my horse, tack or anyone elses horses have not been stolen I think some people are a bit cynical but thanks I guess for looking out.
We have a very good security system at our yard CCTV, alarms, locks, dogs you name it we got it, so I doubt he will be able to steal anything and get away with it.

yep

one of the pics was entirely focusing on you - it has cut your horses head off.

if it was a friend..... then i culd say yeah - facebook pics for you etc... thats more acceptable.....
but still..... jsut wrong lol.

who is this guy anyhow?
 
OMG. The pictures are really of you, which sets alarm bells off. I think just put it down to experience, and hope he doesn't pop out of the bushes on another hack ;). If he does, kick some dust in his eye as you run for the hills.

I think the photos are cute, I agree they're more of you than your horse BUT if you're happy with them thats great, I'm pleased for you.

To everyone else, labelling some poor sod as some sort of pervert is really wrong.
