MKEC is still open for schooling until mid-December, so I was wondering if anyone wanted to be my garuanteed lead on either Tuesday 12th or Saturday 16th (those are the only two days I might be able to do and I can't 100%confirm that at the moment.) Might be able to sort something out with transport if you're heading from the same direction. Any takers?!
 
Planning to take Joe there, but as it will be first time xc schooling, being lead horse might not be good idea!! Although i know he has hunted and was apparantely very bold! Certainly hasn't looked twice at any obstacles i've pointed himat out hacking! x
 
You know you want to..... Question is can you afford it? And when the hell am I going xmas shopping?!

Put his hunting bit in, you'll be fine! I'm hoping after some tiddley stuff, the usual, ditches water drops, we can jump some chunkier stuff! He ambled round a course of 1m30 quite comfortabley at home the other day in the mud!

HUNTING BIT DOESNT WORK!! hence why we havent been hunting lol

However, as long as i gallop around a lot get rid of all his energy Im there! i have no stud holes so it will have to be small

But can give you a lead over ditches water and banks fine

We have a reservoir near us that we often ride around, the first time i asked Joe to go for a paddle he was a bit cautious, but since then you have to slow him down he is that keen! same if he gets a log in his eyeline - he is jumping it! Very bold boy!

but try for around 11 onwards please! one because of FOG (when Sillymare and i went we had FOG) and 2ndly if i have 5 to do before I leave! I dont wanna be getting up before 6 please!

And if BB cant make it there seem to be an enormous amount of people already dying to go eventing already (heaven forbid) according to another thread today so you could try asking one of them!
 
Good idea, but won't look great if he stops will it? Think he really needs to do some proper basic stuff, then he should be away. Have pretty much cured him of his stop so don't want to face him with something that gives him an excuse to start it again.

Might have a training session on that saturday now but wont know until next thursday.
If not then I will come over. Just keep me informed of meet time etc and I will book with Fiona if I'm free. Hope so

I will ahve to wait and see if his owner is using trailer for hunting that day - no way i can squeeze Joe into my 505!
