anyone watch The One Show?

So watching the One Show, there was a story about a man who was conned by being a Mystery Shopper.
Sad story as it is, i found it partially ruined by Dom referering to HSBC to haych-SBC.

Am i the only person that finds this irritating?
Is the letter 'H' pronounced as aych or haych?

I've always been taught it was aych.

any thoughts?

I'm an aych! I guess it depends how your parents say it as to how you learn or something!

The correct spelling of the letter H is aitch and hence the pronunciation should be without and H in front!!!

I can still vividly remember, very early on in primary school, being told off by my teacher for saying haitch. So I've said aitch ever since. Although anything is better than the English/(derbyshire?) way of spelling things out phonetically. I cannot follow what they spell at all!
