Anyone with a box/trailer feel like doing fellow HHO'er a favour?

I am due to get a little companion pony for Archie and have had to postpone 3 times due to the bad weather. Is there anyone with some christmas spirit still who would consider helping me with transport at a reasonable rate? My yard is near A3, near Horndean/Portsmouth and pony is in Wellow, New Forest. I really would have loved to have done it either tomorrow (Monday or Tuesday) if anyone can help. Ideally, a small box as the lanes are twisty with a couple of long hills and in this weather a trailer may slip and slide (but then I am always looking on the bleak side! Sorry).

Sadly what you are asking is illegal! VOSA and Trading Standards are having a field day with horse lorries and trailers this year.

OMG - sorry about that, didn't realise its illegal to ask someone for a favour. Is it because I said at a reasonable rate? I was hoping someone would be able to help me out for petrol money.

HH did a feature in their magazine 3 pages of all the rules and regulations-not sure if its available 'online'-would be handy if it was!

Frustrating as it is, gone are the days when you can 'do favours' really the same as picking a friends child up from school in your car! Now thats another can of worms!
