I'm researching the above at the moment and was wondering if anyone has experience with any of the above with dogs. Particularly any practice names as I'm only finding equine ones so far. I'm in Kent but anywhere UK.

My gsd has ruptured her patella ligament shortly after tta for cruciate repair. We're early stages and on a wing and a prayer that she'll pull through but want to know what is out there to assist with tendon healing particularly anything to support long term flexibility etc.

Any ideas other than title also appreciated (already on my list is cold laser and microcurrent, the metal implants would appear to restrict the options available _ie anything that produces heat, Hydro is a given.)

Thank you 😁

Supervet chap does it, I saw him try it out in his programme. I think they are Sussex or Surrey?
I think Dick White at Newmarket ofers it too.

I use PRP in a spaniel with coronoid process disease (comes under the elbow dysplasia umbrella) - he's only had one set of injections so far ( we are using the PRP as an intra-articular injection) but it seems to be successful and can be repeated if/as necessary. Less chance of a "flare" reaction to PRP as it's "self" than a manufactured drug though those reactions are rare. UCD in Dublin did mine but any large referral practice with an orthopedic team should be able to do at least PRP if not StemCell. It isn't vastly espensive either - the whole lot including drugs/sedation/consult came to about €400.

My friend is one of the Doctors working on this type of research (for humans), she is also working/liasing or has worked (can't remember which) with her colleagues with Fitzpatricks (Supervet), where my dog also went for surgery.
It really is a fascinating subject, I can ask her if she would be willing to chat to you via me if you like?
She will be able to answer questions far better than I can and hopefully be able to point you in the right direction.
PM me if you want a chat.
