Anyone worried about fireworks landing on their stables?

My ponies are coming in at night at the mo, but I've left them out tonight, because we're in a residential-ish area and I was worried about all the fireworks..... like one landing on the stable roof and catching fire :(

Now I'm sitting here listening to thunderous clapping and banging and wondering whether they're OK out.... as what if a rocket stick lands on their heads?

I hate bloomin fireworks :(

I was just saying about fireworks and those chinese lantern things to my oh, there is loads flying about round my way, he says i'm just dreaming up stuff to worry about as per usual, but it is playing on my mind !.

I've just had a look out of the window and there are hundreds of those Chinese Lantern things going off - just hope they don't land in any fields to injure any livestock....the dog is shaking and panting as if he's just about to have a heart attack......I am going to do the horse early in the morning and I will be pipping my horn all the way to wake up the ignorant ***** who have kept me awake....I bloody hate NYE

I found a burnt out chinese lantern beside the feed buckets in the field on christmas night. Luckily everyone was ok but I am sure coronories were had when it floated down.

Fortunately, over the years, we have educated our neighbours about fireworks. Most of us have animals in the village but there are the odd one or two of the 'educated but no common sense type' who occasionally have fireworks.

Last night I was more bothered about the chineese lanterns that our new neighbours next door were setting off. One barely cleared the roof of our house before clearing off elsewhere, fortunately.

The last thing I want is all my winter feed/stables/house burning down or one coming down in one of our fields for the metal frame to be found by a horse or a mower.
