your horses on here?

Ive just had a thought that anyone can join here as long as they have an email address. Meaning the theives could join, suss out people's horse's and where they live, then come and steel them!

Or am i being to paranoid???

I've thought that - but if someone really wanted to do that, wouldn't it be easier to go onto the classifieds, find out all the information and value of some horses + their location?

I think theres a big hype at the minute, and as long as you stay vigilant theres not much more you can do
 
not really! I think it would be too much effort for thieves, plus the scary guard dog at our yard would soon get rid of them!

The worst I have seen is people advertiisng their horses with their exact postcodes, these are on the lesser known selling sites but still! taking a risk or what! I saw someone with a 9.5k horse advertising with their postcode!
 
yes! i do ! i dont think its hard for people to suss out alot about you but i dont know whether they would use it to steal a horse - all they need to do would be to look at ads, goggle the phone number and thats that really.
 
I thought that a few weeks ago but mine are so filthy most of the time they wouldnt recognise them and if someone wants your horse, they will make an attempt anyway, regardless!
 
Yes, I know. That's why I don't have any info about myself or where I live in the "Message From" column (which probably has a technical name but I don't know it!) and hopefully give no personal info about myself in any message I post.

All our gates are padlocked and we have cameras so not much chance of getting on the property and with 5 dogs - three of which stud dogs they would not stand much chance of getting off the proprty!
 
I considered it for about ten seconds, and then screamed my head off laughing. Anyone who can actually catch Brandy, wrestle her into a trailer, get her tied up and get away without her waking the entire universe or killing them or tearing the trailer to shreds deserves to steal her since they'd already be ten steps ahead of anything I've managed.
