Question in the title!

Angel always makes me out to be a liar, to be exaggerating etc! Its good in a way but also sooooooooo frustrating!

My mare does not load or HAS not loaded for the last 4 years - not without a 2 hour battle! Had my last possible solution come out yep I walk straight on! No problem.

The vet came for vaccs I couldn't get out of work my YO said she would sort it I said she will rear last time she pinned the vet against the wall - she didn't rear! Vet even phoned me suprised!

Had a jumping lesson the other week as I am loosing control round corners with her motor biking and jumping the jumps 6 foot in the air what ever the hieght... you guessed it nice and calm round the corners and giving the correct space between her and the jump!

Why do they do this? and anyone elses horse do the same!? A pointless post but seriously I swear people think i am lying?! Or do you think its when its just me she decides to play up!?

Always. Henry has just started being really good with being caught...I tell my dad this, he comes up to see Hen and I can't catch the little begger! My friend comes and rides on a Tues and I always worry about him, and tell her to be confident, and keep control on all acounts but hes always a star with her!

I'm glad Im not alone in the world.

All the time at work. In the demo's I say how the older horses put thier heads down, noses out, close eyes and ears back so you can get a full coller over more easily without catching them, anyway as soon as i say this, they refuse point blank.... also little white lies as the general public are rather panicy. Carraige broke once, and i mean really badly, the welds on the axel broke and i had to be so calm get people off, send them back as soon as they were round the corner i was shouting blue murder. Also how lame one of the horses is a frequent lie, always say their better than they are as I get accused of animal cruelty otherwise!

Yes.

Me to OH: "Oh, we'll have to go get her. She never comes to the gate unless I have carrots."
Brandy: charges from bottom of the valley to the top gate trampling other horses in the process.

Me to YO: "She'll shy at sheep and stuff but she never spooks at traffic..."
Brandy: does a cartwheel at the tractor that has been rusting in the opposite farmyard for the past decade.

Me to hacking friend: "She's not really fit enough for hacking over twenty minutes at the moment."
Brandy: spends the hour afterwards lunaticking her way round the fields.

Hee hee, yes they are all the same - bet they all snigger about us in the field when we are away - ha ha made her look like an idiot today, loaded first time etc etc lol!! X

So true I think they all compare notes. Hmm what are you going to do today to p1ss her off? You could see my mare laughing at me on the box today! Like ha I told u I could go on.

My mare peversley behaves with total good manners in large groups. She even stood rock solid at a Crol service, complete with brass band, allowing me to share a hymn sheet with some-one on a horse she had never met before. Nobody ever believes me when I tell them about her major spooks and reverses when she is out on her own or with one other, they look at me as if I am mad or lying, as they have seen her be foot perfect while others have been looning round her

(I am sure she is laughing at me)

Me: Yes, B is fairly well behaved with people
B: Steals bloke's jam sandwich then dribbles down his nice jacket

Me: Ponio is a bit nervous with strangers
Ponio: Oh hello handsome chap can I come home with you?

Oh, constantly! Its the in-joke.

The main thing is not so much proving me to be a liar, but showing me up. For example he'd been doing brilliantly in handy pony - he is usually the ultimate "bovvered" horse. Is also generally very well behaved at dressage. Went to dressage and a friend came down to watch and..... he spooked and spooked and spooked at EVERYTHING in the warm up!

Its just lucky that the friend saw our test too where he was a very good boy!

He shew his owner up plenty of times when she told me he was bold as brass to hack, but everytime I took him around the block I'd invariably have to get off and lead him past something very scary!

Yup, never bucked spun or dropped his shoulder until a girl who wanted to share him tried him out a couple of years ago. I felt like a right idiot after he promptly dumped her and I said well he's never done anything like that before.
