My 16.2ish 9 yo tb gelding has dropped so much weight so far this winter. He was on hay but have replaced that with haylege about a week ago. He also has a scoop of fast fibre (before soaking measure) and a scoop of top chop lite at night and 1/2 scoop of fast fibre and a scoop of top chop lite in a morning.
He can't have any cereals or mollases as they heat him up.

Ditch the FF it's low calorie bulk feed for fattys, it will serve no purpose to your horse if needing weight on.

I struggled with my growning WB, tried so many difo feeds with no real results.

He now gets pure feeds pure condition 3 Stubbs scoop a day, micronised linseed and Equijewel rice bran 3 cups a day of each split between 3 feeds and he is blooming. 3 measures of brewers yeast and ablib haylage at night.

I've seen a massive difference in him.

Micronised linseed is good for weight gain, I realise you said no cereals but I've got a fella who gets fizzy really easily and he is no differant with Baileys No.1, I've used it in the past and found I didn't need much for it to make a differance to his weight.
