Now a store has opened fairly locally, I am considering trying Countrywide's range of horse feeds but cannot find a nutritional and content breakdown on their website. Anyone know if there is one anywhere? Thanks.

If you'd like the breakdown of their maintenance nuts and stud & conditioning mix - I can pop out to my feed room!

Really like the S&C mix - I used to use Spillers cond mix - but this is miles better - their coats are fab. manes/tails soft & shiny and it genuinely puts condition on. All mine hunt on it too

I use the maintenance mix on a very good doer of an ISH who can't take barley - none of their cubes have barley in, all of their mixes do.

Am due into C/W prob tomorrow - if you can't find any listing of the breakdowns, give me a shout and I can have a look on the bags for you.

Excellent, thanks. Just the sort of reply I needed as it was the Stud and Conditioning Mix I was thinking of trying. I've a 2 year old coming back from stud this week and she's in rather poor condition. At home my grass is excellent in summer and in winter they eat adlib quality haylage and Bailey's Stud Balancer, so I've not had to try a conditioning product.

It's nice to know you recommend it. If you're able to get the ingredients and feed values, that would be great. And approxminate feed rates for a WB 2 year old weighing 500Kg and standing 16.1 at the mo.

Thanks again!

loads cheaper than brand name stuff & they're doing bulk order discounts at the moment - can't speak more highly of the S&C mix!

14.2hh cob @ 500kg girth of 184 cm - 3.1 kg nuts 9.4kg forage
16hh TB type @ 550kg girth of 190cm - 3.4 kg nuts 10.3kg forage

hope this helps!

I work for Countrywide and we are bringing out a new range of feed in mid-September. Some of the feeds are just the original ones being rebranded, but we also have a few new ones. The bags will be a lot snazzier too!
