Met him at the races once when he rode in a steeplechase sponsored by my sis and her husband in memory of bro-in-law's dad... always has time to talk to everyone. Epic guy.

McCoy was on The Morning Line yesterday from Jackdaws Castle, and seemed pretty relaxed, enjoying his success, savouring it.. I was so glad to see that, driving ambition can remove the soul of the hardest jockey, and has done in the past. With his outstanding talent and availability as a professional jockey, he does not have to suffer the end of year battles we have seen in past years and which have been to the detriment of those involved.
I am currently reading some autobiographical stuff by Dunwoody, he fails to emphasis just how single-minded was his approach to finding the next winner. However, other former weighing room colleagues have mentioned it!
