Apart from BHS - any other route to become an instructor?

Just a long term musing on my part - and having looked at the hoops you have to jump through plus the cost of taking each seperate exam etc i wondered if there is another way?

Im not planning on it just yet - but have always thought of it as something i would like to do.

Well, there is ABRS, but no one recognises them so an utter waste of time.
If you don't want to bother training, why not just call yourself an 'eventer' or 'professional dressage rider', or better still a 'trainer' or a 'coach' and idiots will pay you regardless of the fact you've never ridden a circle or jumped a fence in your life?
