Well, thanks so much to mollymurphy for keeping everyone updated. I've been at the yard all weekend and have just come home ready for work tomorrow.

You may be all intrigued to know that I was thrown off my livery yard yesterday. Do you believe it? Not sure I do... I'm not sure I can cope with recounting the story today. But I will just say that as the owner of a 3 week old recently orphaned foal, I was just trying to keep my head down and do my very best for him, as I will continue to do. And also I hope anyone who knows me would vouch that I am as straight as they come!

New yard is fantastic, and they can't do enough for us, so overall - a positive outcome but a very difficult path getting there.

Dolly is an absolute sweetie, and I think she likes Apollo and cares for him. I just hope she can cope with his playing and nosying. Here are some piccys and I hope to have more definitive news for you all tomorrow. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts. I've seen some amazing kindness in the last few days.

Now I have to go and spend an hour with my OH as he is going to India for 5 weeks on Tuesday...

Anne xx

Apollo doing what he does best - sleeping and eating!! Whilst looking very cute. He likes his giant dog rug as it keeps him snug as a bug, but he says he likes to play games when we want to put it on him!

OMg thats just made me cry! He looks like he is a bright as a button, and he is certainly looking good. It sounds like you are due some good luck, if you need any practical help of a manual nature, give me a shout, (I am no good at emotional help I'm afraid).
Take care and look after yourself as well.
xx

Oh Anne, he is absolutely gorgeous! MM has kept me posted on Dolly's working holiday

Sad to hear you were evicted from your last yard but it sounds to me as if you are much better off on the new yard. Maybe after all your heartache, the change is the best thing to have happened.

Lots of vibes still coming your way. Keep us posted.
Hxx

Thank you all. I'm so sorry we didn't move years ago. At least I don't have to see Suzy's empty stable now. Anyone who feels they are trapped on a rubbish yard, please - at least look for other options. You never know whats around the corner.

I can't believe you got evicted with a 3 week old foal to deal with, but the new yard sounds great so I do hope things work out for the best. Apollo is absolutely gorgeous by the way.

I am in shock you were evicted but people never cease to amaze mewith how cruel they can be. I have no idea of the circumstances that caused this but it must have been a nightmare trying to move them! and not what you need to deal with right now for sure!
He is just an angel and will no doubt grow up to be an amazing horse!

Keep on trying! It sounds like you are working very hard

Anakin you are being so strong through all of this and are a credit to your little Apollo.

Im pleased you have found a helpful caring yard and I wish you all the luck in the world with your beautiful boy.

Just viewed my post and I had to laugh - it looked like Apollo has been caught raiding his mummys' dressing up box!! His headcollar and the rug are just too big for the wee man. Lets hope he grows into them soon!!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

I cant believe you were thrown off your yard either! However it sounds like he is settling in and you are better off where you are.

can't imagine why you where evicted with the little one. Some people are beyond help !!!!

He is adorable and looking well - things will get better.

xx

I think you are being so brave and positive - Apollo may have lost his mum, but he is very lucky having you. As for the yard evicting you - thank goodness you are out of what is obviously a dreadful place.

He is so gorgeous, keeping everything crossed that he and Dolly bond. Can't believe you were evicted from your yard at a time like this - IMO no matter what the reasons any YO who could do this to an orphan foal shouldn't be running a livery yard. Wishing you all the best on your new yard, hope things are looking up for you now. x

What a cruel deal for you Anakin first your beloved mare and then you get evicted from your yard. What utter w****** for doing that !
I cannot believe the depths some people will go to

I'm very pleased to hear your new yard is better though and I hope you get all the support and help you deserve.
I also admire Mollymurphy for her help with your little orphan. It melts my heart to know there are very kind people still out there especially after reading about your eviction too.
Apollo looks absolutely gorgeous and I for one am smitten

I hope he continues to grow and do well and continues to make both his mums very proud x
best wishes

Ditto what everyone has said about you being evicted. That's just disgusting. I know there are two sides to every story - but nothing you could have done (not that I think you have done anything) justifies throwing a you foal of the yard.

Apollo is stunning - I with you and him all the best.

Yes Nuala, I really hope people don't think it is a reflection on me. I know they have their story, to them it makes sense but it seems to everyone else who knows what happened it beggars belief. It's not the first time they have thrown people off for no apparent reason. One woman was thrown off because she refused to pick up a pile of muck that was someone elses!!!! I will perhaps recount my tale when I've stopped being so angry about it.

He is an adorable foal, hope he is coping ok with his move and his new mum. Sounds lucky to have you looking after him too.

he looks adorable

sending loads of good luck vibes that things pick up for you and apollo.
shocking that someone would throw an orphaned foal off of a yard. and i know what some yards are like, and how cruelly unfair people can be, so no way would i judge u on ure eviction. and i'm sure once ure ready u will let us know the story.
glad uve also found a lovely yard for him. sounds like ure better off away from that awful yard anyway. just wish the circumstances had been better for u 2.
