After last nights deflated post that prospective horse has been kicked and got a broken shoulder I'm once again on the hunt after sobbing all evening last night!

Was looking for something over 15.2hh as I'm 5ft 7/8 (lightweight) but have seen a lovely 4 yo 14.3 Welshie mare. My loan horse is 15.1hh and rather slight in build so I don't think I'd feel too big....

So how much do you think for a newly broken welsh d mare with nebo bloodlines? She has been lunged, long reined and backed with walk and trot work. However, does suffer from sweetich that is controlled by a boett blanket.

Oh thats terrible news but just as well before you bought and not after.

I don't know about a price for a Welsh D other than the ones I've come across have been pretty sharp. Probably not more than £1500?

I'd sat £2000 simply because of the sweetitch and the fact that she hasn't done much. Saying that though I don't know much about Welshies in particular so nebo bloodlines mean nothing to me. If that's a good bloodline maybe £2500.
