Im interested in a small(er) lorry (need to swap my 6 tonne as its costing me a fortune to park it somewhere else because it wont fit on the drive) but I like the look of the mercedes sprinter vans - not too keen on the renault master. When the Katie Price pink horsebox thread was on a few weeks ago I think somebody said they knew who had made her box ? I quite liked it (not the colour - my gelding is far too butch to travel in that !), but the box itself looked really nice. I have seen one that I may go and look at next weekend but it is a long way away, so I wondered if anyone knew of anyone who made them before I travel a few hundred miles ? Any help much appreciated.
 
There is someone very local to me (county durham) who builts/converts all kinds of wagons. he converted a 7.5tonne and a 3.5tonne for me, he will convert any box if you bring it to him or he Can find one for you. This is my box which i LOVE! Its a renault master

That sounds quite interesting, I hadn't really considered buying a chassis myself and getting someone to do the build.
Your box looks very smart. Please could you PM me with the details ? I will ask them for a quote. Thanks.
 
dont know the contact details off by heart but name is Gary Bates (GB horsebox builders) they are in bishop auckland, county durham, Will get the number tomorrow and pm you. Gary does a great job, and will change anything you want, eg. we didnt want spare tyre cover on the back coz i think they look crap lol
 
marlborough horse boxes do amazing conversions YO has one atm and ours is coming in a few weeks, they are near Preston i dont know if that is closer to you heres there website
