...at not spending money I don't have in the tack shop!
After the talk about nylon headcollars and the safety or lack thereof in the field, I went to buy the spooky pony a leather one (he keeps losing the "field-safe" nylon one, and without a headcollar on, just runs in circles around me when I try to catch him). I did find a reasonably cheap one, but the new extra-long stirrup leathers for the dressage saddle, and the new stirrups of course, weren't so cheap...
