15.3hh ( hope he is done growing ) 5yr old cob.I have ridden twice in two years and one of those times was trying him out today. I wasn't even looking for a horse,it's all my mates fault!!

erm erm, i should be cringing saying this but we just plan to bumble round the lanes!

Being someone who's always had tb's (the mad ones also!!) or takes in the neurotic horses that are supposedly unfit to ride, I always envy people who get a horse to bumble about out hacking on!! When I take mine out hacking I'm generally asking for a death wish and can't enjoy it as much as I'd like to and go where I'd like! As children I think many of us used to hack a lot and some days I think, "oh to go out, canter along along the verges, pop into the woods and jump some logs and then sit down next to my horse and eat some jam sandwiches!!". I could never do that with my boys!! The problem is I love my tb's too much and would always get another! Must ensure, will hack alone and will not nap in front of lorries!!!
