I feed it to both of mine everyday (give or take) - meant to be good for joints etc. I just pour it in their feeds - they smell like a couple of underaged teenagers who have been drinking cider at the pub.
I use the Equus one and order it from Mile end equestrian supplies. Best to use the cloudiest possible - I am going to try another company based in cornwall whose version is very cloudy and has loads of apple bits in it. They do like the Equus one though.
From my local tack shop, i give 75ml a day to my pony and 150ml a day to my horse, it also stimulates appetite, good for joints and coat, and good for disguising things and they love the taste.
i buy mine from the local feed merchants, its a naff one i think,i also bought a pump which i add two squirts with to her feed, i was worried she would not like it at first as it smells strong but she loved it straight away, i got it for my older mares joints
It's unpasteurised, looks cloudy and is totally natural - the stuff you get in supermarkets is the clear filtered stuff which isn't really much good... I feed about 100ml but started off by just giving 50ml as it does have a very stong (but not unpleasant) smell.
I get mine from Crossgates really good unpasturised, unfiltered. Full of slimey cobweb (Pectin)
I even have some in hot water, makes a really refreshing drink. I also apply it externally if any skin problems as it is an astringent as well!
It doesn't give energy it can inrease stamina though. As been proven in hunting/working dogs.
It can be used for all sorts plus it is a natural feed source of essential vitamins & amino acids that the body can readily digest. Also helps improve coat condition too!
Maggie2 it could be your sevice provider I have that problem if I am in either firefox or slimbrowser!? Just a thought!
