apple flavoured Bute / normal flavoured Bute

my mare can be fussy with Bute so we tend to get the apple flavoured one, however I only have a few sachets left. I have plenty of the normal flavoured bute- just wondering if you can mix these? ie apple flavoured one day then when that's ran out move onto the normal one?

will check the q with my vet but thought I'd post here in the meantime, apologies if its a daft question

Look at both sachets the active ingredient should be the same if so if you put the normal ones in the fridge it is meant to help with them not noticing it in the feed and do away needing to buy the more expensive ones. The fridge trick worked for my fussy mare who now has no problems with them as she has a daily bute.

I have been mixing the bute with a little honey and making a small sandwich. After a while my pony became suspicious and spat it out. He gets the sandwich offered in a handful of speedibeet now.
