Well done WHW for pursuing the conviction - it seems a bit of a tame conviction though and I don’t suppose the owner will take any notice.

It does seem tame, particularly as who is actually going to monitor that. Maybe he'll get picked up again in future.

I am glad they were able to get the horse off him at least. I hope she finds a lovely home.

He'll just have them in his wife's/son's/father's/cousin Billy's name. That's if he's even bothered, since as above, nobody is going to monitor that. She looks lovely and I am toying with a rescue when my mare goes, but WHW sanctuaries are all too far away from me.

Surely she won't be placed anywhere near the old owner?

Unless the new owners publicly announce that they have her and draw attention to her, I can't see why she would be stolen?

I think the new owners will be told not to announce anything.

I know when I rescued my dog, because of the circumstances they stipulated I couldn’t. They asked if I could refrain from posting anything about her till she was an adult bitch.

And yeah I think they would prefer somewhere further afield
