Appleby drowning - result

Although he wasn't jailed for Drowning the horse. he only got 5yrs ban for that.
The reason he was jailed was 14 days for missing 1 court appearance and 14 days for turning up 2 hours late.

I despair in the Justice system
 
I fear the same will be for Jamie Gray. He'll get a ban for owning and then get fined and/or jailed for assaulting the PO

No he was jailed for 28 days and banned from keeping animals for 5 years. He received a subsequent 28 days for two further offence.s

Something needs to be done about the lack of punishment for animal cruelty. I want this pathetic excuse of a man to feel the fear and panic that that poor horse did before he suffers a slow, horrible death.

I totally agree, they need more of a punishment. Its like that boy who killed a horse with a meat cleaver, something needs to be done to stop these disgusting people, i can not believe these things happen. Animals need to be protected form them as they are just animals. They disgust me!
 
I don't think it IS the same; in human terms the drowning would be something like manslaughter or something even milder; the cleaver incident would be murder.
 
Oh we can kill an innocent animal for fun and just get a ban, but if we upset the judgy wudgy we have to go to prison, fekkin pathetic result, just like the other two scumbags
