I wouldn't be giving it anything personally if RSPCA are now involved as it could interfere with the argument/case of it not getting any water, care, etc.
Yes, giving it water WILL stop the RSPCA being able to remove it
AmyMay, I am sorry but you are wrong. If a horse is being given food and/or water this can stop the removal of the horse on welfare grounds. Abandonment is a totally different matter and would be dealt with by the local authority rather than the RSPCA or another charity.
Here we go! Because the gyppos are involved, it must be suffering.
Yes, giving it water WILL stop the RSPCA being able to remove it, because as they see it, it's fine. They can't take into account that your friend is the one watering it.
Just maybe, just this once, this forum could remove it's blinkers and see the gypsy community for what they really are, and see appleby for what it really is.

always thought Appleby was a cruel and outdated festival-
I,m sure the little colt dumped at the roadside will be really interested to know in between feeling alone, (it's a herd animal), probably hungry and thirsty, maybe even cold and wet who knows, that the ethnic rights of it's wonderful steeped in history loving caring owners are being upheld on this very forum of animal lovers, I'm sure it will now sleep better tonight knowing that, well done![]()
