Hi,

We are planning to do a few shows this year with our sons, who will both be on lead rein. This is low level local stuff but I don't want to let them down by being inappropriately dressed.

Any advice on what both I and my husband should where?

Many thanks
J

Husband should wear a suit. If your rider is in tweed then husband needs a tweed jacket and flat cap, if it's a show pony and hence your rider in navy then your oh should be in a black suit with bowler hat.

For yourself, a skirt or kullotes are appropriate and a nice blouse a nice scarf and a trilby style hat would be appropriate, you can't go far wrong with a navy skirt, cream blouse and scarf and navy hat. oh and leather gloves

Quite correct for higher level showing - but don't panic OP. If you are going for really local low level stuff neat and practical will do. For our PC show we tend to see parents in Johds and boots or neat trousers and a white shirt / blouse. Being neat is respectful to the judge. But the important thing is to have fun. But if you do get into showing more seriously... conniegirl is right.
