Looking for rough price guides for truning my cushings / lami ponys bare paddock into a sand or rubber or both paddock ??????

calling local suppliers on monday .

His paddock is approx 20feet x 40 feet .

Not sure per ton but at my old yard we got a deal on rubber chips to mix with the sand that was already in the arena and it cost around £3500. The arena was also 20X40.

hmmmm, this was my plan, and i found mainland aggregates... prices on their website were ACE, and i worked out i could do an all weather turnout for about £300... i asked them for a quote... and it was £1300...

apparently delivery is three times as much as the product...?!?

so, when asking for a quote, make sure it includes delivery!

p.s. i was doing a slightly bigger area than you (10m x 20m). half silica sand, half rubber chip. but i wasn't doing it very deep, as was laying a horse proof membrane first...
 
cool , thanks guys , yes I know delivery can add a fair bit on top , so i am going to get prices with delivery and with me collecting also and hopefully go with me collecting it bes cheaper i hope . xxxx
