have just discovered this wonder product for TBs dry hoofs :) they often crack in the dry summer months, have been using this daily for a week now, heres hoping!
Does anyone else use this for their hooves?

I think you mean Aqueous Cream? available at chemists from around £1 a tub. We've used it on our horses hooves for years. It certainly helps their hooves, soles & frogs in the dry weather & it so much cheaper than Kevin Bacon products.

Yes, thats the one! was recommended it as alternative to kevin bacon stuff :) going to try it on the cobs too, which will be a test as they are out 24/7 barefoot so are prone to cracking/dry hooves

Also used it for years, damping the hooves first though on the advice of the farrier. Same farrier also really rates Kevin Bacon, and finishes every job with it, but it's £16 a pot from him so I stick to the aqueous! He puts the Kevin Bacon on with a light sanding block.

oo. I had never heard this. Was just thinking I ought to buy a pot of Kevin Bacon as my two are starting to split a little but maybe I'll try this first.

Do you just put it on all over?

Yes, with a brush - be prepared for the fact that the hooves look very white and weird for a while but the cream soon sinks in!

I wouldn't use this product on hooves. It is a soap substitute not a moisturiser and actually changes the composition of skin and nail. Thinning them very quickly. These tests have been carried out on humans but animal tissue is little different and it will have similar effects. It should be washed off completely after use.
