I have bought a yearling arab colt and was wondering if anybody could recommend the best place to purchase an arabian in hand bridle that isnt going to cost the earth?

Thanks for replying I have had a look on e-bay but as he is a colt will he not need to be bitted? the arab bridles on e-bay dont have bits...

Hmm- not sure- I have seen some nice fine rolled leather in- hand bridles on there, not specifically for Arabs, but they look as if they would show off a fine head nicely - and they could take a bit... depends whats available on e-bay when youre looking really doesnt it?

Ive never had a youngster that young, so Im not sure what the rules are re bitting, if any TBH...you probably will be ok without one at his age surely? You wouldnt normally bit a yearling ..or would you? ....as I say, never had one that young..Good luck anyway

I dont think yearlings have to be bitted and i'm not sure about 2 yearolds but i do know 3 yearold colts have to be.

I have a plain leather arab halter for sale, and a plain brown fabric one for sale as they dont fit my arab anylonger and i'm now using a nice blue and silver cotton one when he goes to local shows and have a big black embroydered traditional one for bigger shows (and fancy dress when combined with the arab saddle i have)

try ebay.com as opposed to the english one. They have a much larger selection and are often cheaper including postage from the states!
