I wondered if any fellow Arab owners could recommend me a fly mask, preferably one that can be used without a headcollar (but not essential) and either cheap or tough as I have two turned out together and anticipate they will be a target for the other horse. I'd prefer a fringe style rather than a full face covering but the only one I saw that covered round the side of the face didn't have good reviews.

I used to use Cashel masks but one of my Arab's refuses to have a full mask on his head and the other one gets them off most of the time, the premiere equine ones fit and so do le mieux in large fit my 2.

So this year I was going to buy a field safe headcollar each and just use fly fringes but happened to see a fly fringe and nose fringe incorporated into a fieldsafe headcollar on ebay, they only had 2 and they were used but they are proving pretty good at the moment.

But if I was you maybe try a field safe headcollar and add what you want to it if you don't want a full mask.

I use the le mieux full face one and he’s never got it off, i don’t think he tries though. He is a playful one so I’m sure it takes a battering during bitey face

I use the Farnam Super Mask, they do an Arab size.

I have an equilibrium one. It stays on and horse wears it happily. I wonder how he can see with it on though as it's thick mesh, it's possible he can't very well but he's used to it.

I use Premier Equine on mine, but I can't use the ones woth the nose as they interfere woth her rather large nostrils 🤣

Cashel do arab ones

Part bred Arab at our yard uses the Premier Equine Lycra ones (we all do to be honest!) they are really good, nice and small for little heads!
