My best friend has a Welsh sec D that has a bit of welsh in him.He has a lovely gentle side and a scatty nasty side.He has the exact same temprament as my ArabxTB mare but she is abit more athletic with it
havent got any pics sorry but mine was welsh x arab. she was built like an arab with the hardyness of a welsh about 14.1hh she was awsome great lil mare.
A great cross she also had the speed and agileness of an arab but not the stupid flighty arab temperment.
really surprised the breeding isnt more popular although i was lucky i suppose it can go either way
He has been a star all the time i've had him, very level headed (thats the cob in him) however was a bit of a handful when he did competitions with him (excitable arab) but i wouldn't of done without him, he was a star.
Mine's Fab, Super little things! My mare's 14.1, but rides bigger, safe as houses, likes to look at everything! Very intelligent! Mines quite fine, looks arabish, but with the sensibility of the cob! Used to have attitude coming out of her ears...but now she's great! Pretty and knows it!
Our bestest little horse ever was out of an arab mare by a welsh hackney stallion. She's only 15hh but can jump anything you put in front of her. Currently on loan as daughter discovered boys
Ginga is a Welsh CX arab, although only 1/16th arab. He looks just like a chunky section C with a pretty face. He is 13.3, super temperament. Could get any rider placed up to about elem dressage- He just does it. Loves jumping, competed as a pair nationally driving, and took me to the national championships driving after I'd been driving less than a year- He always get clear cones, he just takes himself.
Winning my sisters first W+T dressage
A couple of Xmasses ago- Winning fancy dress driving
