Hi all
Does anyone have an example of a programme routine they have used to manage arthritis in a horse? I've bought an arc and used it for 6 weeks on my youngster and touch wood it seems to have helped. Anyway, I would also like to use it on my older boy who is a bit stiff coming out of his box after he's been in during the day, and has in past had his fetlock injected for arthritic changes.
Just wondered if anyone had an example of what settings they have used on an arthritic horse?
I've emailed arc for advice but appreciate its the weekend now so thought would try on here as well!
 
One of mine has the start of arthritic changes in his hock and I followed the full 8 week programme with him (mainly for another issue) then went back to the initial week1 programme for maintenance and have left it on that as it seems to be working.
 
Ive been using it on my mare with collaterall ligament damage, its been just over 3 momths since i started using it on her and a year since she went off work, although i was given the go ahead to start her back on work 2 momths ago ive given her the year, we're just starting the regenerating programmes now and im going to gradually increase inhand walking over the next few weeks with a view to jumping on and starting ridden work at the end of June.
Heres hoping she stays sound
 
I was but have just lent it to a friend whose horse has a suspensory ligament injury. I plan on continuing with it when I get it back though!

Hi. I havn't as yet received your email at my arcequine email address.
For your older horse use 1++++2++++ daily for 3 weeks. You can then gradually reduce the frequency that you use it until you come to the point where minimum use still has maximum effect ( eg every other day, one day in 3 etc ). Ian
