Has anyone used one on a competition horse, if so what for and did it help?
I used one on a horse that had to be box rested for 3 months after arthroscopy on a knee. He healed quicker than expected, and was very chilled throughout the whole time of treatment, including walking out. I noticed he was MUCH livelier once I'd stopped the Arc! He went on to event with no problems at all.
It's a very expensive tens machine... A cheaper horse version if the same thing is called a MicroVet but again that is essentially a £200 tens machine.
It's not a Tens machine at all. A Tens machine works on electrical impulses to counteract pain and it is discernable. You can't feel a micro current at all and it simulates and stimulates cells to regenerate and heal.
we re-scan tomorrow, so will have before and after photos to see if there has been any improvement....
