Well, we picked Tia up on Wednesday and from the moment she stepped off the horse box she settled. Ambled down to the field after a couple of hours up at the yard and introduced her and Archie over the electric fencing. I gave them both a little feed to take their minds off things a little and must say it worked wonders. Dropped the electric fencing and they were fine. No running about, no nastyness. Archie was a little inquisitive, of course, but I got on with things as normal around the field and in next to no time they were eating away, side by side out of the hay manger.
So far, so good. They don't seem joined at the hip, which I am pleased about and seem to respect each other so all in all, an outcome I am thrilled with.
