I've also got a set of Liveryman Mustang (http://www.hackettssaddlery.co.uk/c...ckettssaddlery.co.uk/trolleyed/8/24/index.htm) clippers but they're a bit cumbersome and heavy for head clipping I think. Especially for a horse having it done for the first time.

Arco's are ideal for this, maybe keep a 2nd blade handy in case it goes blunt. Arco has all the required attributes for clipping the face, as soon as you go bigger you get a louder and less agile clipper. Better to spend the money on a spare set of blades and sharpening your existing blades. Make sure you keep the battery charged so you have a full charge before clipping. (Sorry- I now you already know that but I thought I'd say it for good measure!)
