Are all the adverts (right) now dealers adverts ?

I loathe the horse for sale adverts on the page, I find them so distracting still. Most of them look like dealer ads - same riders, same schools, and one I clicked on (a cob for £900 or something - had to see why so cheap) turned out to be a general dealer ad, with "horses starting from £900" - as in, aha, got you looking, but not this one !!!

Urgh. Just find it all so sad and seedy, and I don't want to be looking at them. Can't HHO sort this out, and just put private adverts on here ? After all, no dealer posts allowed.....

Not odd at all. The ads fund the free forum, and negative posts about dealers will result in them refusing to advertise on here - so IPC have made a commercial decision to impose a blanket ban on talking about dealers.
 
I dont normally take much notice of the ads on here but one thing I find difficult with the H&H ads when you go on to the classifieds is that you cannot select Trade or Private (I always look for Private only on sites where you can do that). And it is not always that easy to see which ones are Trade when you get them all. I get that everything has to be paid for by advertising but find H&H one of the worst sites to look for horses on.
 
I have to say I barely notice them now. Once in a while a horse will pop out at me and I take a closer look, but for the most part they are just like boring wallpaper and I don't pay any attention to them. I can't see the problem with anyone advertising on H&H though, be they dealers, private sellers, what difference does it make to H&H?
