Ok so just back from the stable for morning clean out on second day of using my five star wood pellots. BRILLIANT!, it's like visiting the beach in the morning, well once you ve got the poo out that is :) its soo lovely and dry all I've taken out the last four times is poo with hardly a dusting of shavings. The slight wee mountain I find I just rake off the top to make it level and mix in with other dry stuff. There are two big horses in either side of my stable and I was very jealous of their really thick duo beds, this morning I just looked and thought " yuck what a lot of dirt and work. Down side though I finished long before the other guy and for the first time had to sweep the yard :(
Hope my excitement lasts waiting to see how many bags ill need in the next two weeks but at the moment I'm very optimistic, sooo happy, can you tell ;)

What pellets are you using mine is dry but horrible colour Im using verdo pellets.:(

Verdo are quite dark and go even darker quite quickly. The day glow white ones are the Five Star Premium as on my comparison thread here---> http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=552548
They are definately the whitest pellet i`ve come across so far!
the 'other' bed on the thread is Verdo, and although excellent on stink they are definately not as absorbant or as pretty to look at!!
