Don't know if it's the cooler weather or some nice soft ground but Badger is fealing much more cheerful this week than he has been!!! He felt the urge to do a bit of broncing today!!

Are anyone elses horses feeling a bit silly in themselves?

Yes mine is silly at the moment, she went on a hooly last night round the field, I haven't seen bucks like that in a while! She has also become a bit fuel-injected in the arena over the past week, really sharp off my leg and over exaggerating things like canter transitions, and jogging insistently which for a fat lazy old bag is unheard of. I like it!!!

Duurrrr!!! How thick am I of course it's the grass!!!

I don't know what but grass seems to be the only thing that really does anything for Badger! Good job grounds a bit better or I'd have been buggered off with all around on rock hard ground today!

Yes, mine like complete loons this week. I spent yesterday out on a normal hack with my grey cantering sideways for an hour and the ginger one has jumped out of her field the last two evenings....just because she can! Definitely a change in the last week!

Glad it's not just me! "Long and low" has been impossible for the last few days as he spools at chickens, and last night he flat refused to go out for a hack in the woods! Think it's a combination of sugar beet newly introduced to his feed (taking it out again!), grass coming through and the smell of wet pigs from the woods. Great tip from the YM re the pigs, to put Vicks on his nose. Planning to try that one later.

Mine was a bit nutty yesterday, prancing down the track snorting... I think he thinks he's turned into a stallion!

Yes!! Grrr! Only since Sunday though, I blamed it on the thunderstorm we had 2 hours before I woke him up to get ready for a show, but don't know what his excuse still is!! :)
