Are appaloosas like marmite?

Definitely like marmite i think! personally i love both!
I love their colouring, their temperament.. I agree with YorksG about them walking allover you if you dont keep them in line!
Cant wait for mine to be a big boy, hes already shown us his prospective jumping talent by clearing 3ft6 electric fencing the other day! at just 14 months old.. :S *pulls out the grey hairs*

oh yes......hate the marmite....but love the spotty one's!

having attended the Scottish Appaloosa Show at the weekend, i can say that i was very impressed with the behaviour and temperament of them all!!

My boy have had him a month and I wouldn't change him for the world. The first instant I set eyes on him I wasn't keen on his colouring but it took him all of 30 seconds to charm me and now I think I am the luckiest woman alive, I have a wonderful, gorgeous horse with a temperament to die for and talent to boot. I look at him and nothing else will do! Scrubbed up he looks amazing!!

I understand that they are not to everyone's taste but as is said above if he/she is the right horse for you then colouring dosen't matter! He is 17.2hh and I know he has Polish Warmblood in his breeding but I cannot find any Appaloosa! I love his spots!

I love Appys, my girl is a star, I love her to bits, she has a very strong personality and is a sweetie. I think that she is gorgeous and would not change her for the world.

He is the first Spottie I had seen in the flesh and I just wasn't sure, but now I can't resist that face and gorgeous spotty bottom! He is the most gorgeous horse I have ever seen in my own (slightly biased!) opinion!

I love my girl although do get a bit tired of people coming up and going 'Oooh it's like Toytown'
She is brilliant fun, intelligent, responsive and beautiful
