I have been lurking on another forum where a banned member rejoined under another name.
From responses it looks like they are banned elsewhere, they could even be banned off here.
So my question is, can you apologise for the error of your ways and be allowed back on here?

Not me I may add, I do speak my opinion but I wouldn't be outright rude. Its freezing up in these hills and yes I am a bit on the bored side.
One horse is off work and hubby is away, so yep bored.
 
Some that have been banned on here were real characters and I wish they would come back as this forum is not the same, the zest has gone, the really good rows we had each given their opinion on certain things which seems no longer allowed. Political madness gone very wrong.
 
I agree things are not the same without the old characters that used to be on here. There was DD who was great and others but they did over step the mark a few times. I think DD did come back as another name but I think h and h knew it was her-don't know how. I think she still may be on here? I think they should be allowed back. What happened to little legs? scary mare? think maybe people go to another forum x
 
Yes your IP address gives info that forum admin would know you simply altered your name.
Fair enough some do overstep the mark and fail to listen to warnings.
On the forum I am referring to it looks like other members knew they were not who they claimed.

I like reading discussions, its what a forum is about.

I know a few who are not banned but won't come back in the near future because of being bullied and being picked on. It seems certain members on here are in this group and seem to enjoy or cannot help themselves but pick on others or give snide coments.

Then again I also know a few who did come back under a new name for the reasons above, I may add I did meet one of the aforementioned ones who is a lovely lady, great to talk too and also very knowledgeable, we met in a pub near Basingstoke and could not help ourselves and popped into Robinsons.

littlelegs seems to have dropped off the face of the planet and she used to post loads. Seems to me there are a lot of fantasists and narcissists on here.I used to spend ages on here but now I log on every few days if that it just seems dead these days. However having been on the receiving end of some of the flack it's not wonder people leave or don't post.
 
I miss Ravenwood , the serial car killer. Hope she is well and things are good, if you know her in RL send Bob the nota cob and my regards.
 
I miss Littlelegs, she was very funny and outspoken. It does always seem that any mildly controversial opinion is really trashed, not argued with or even ignored. I'm much too outspoken in RL but not thick skinned enough to be slagged off by strangers.

Sorry OT, is the Basingstoke store as big as Cardiff?
 
Littlelegs was great and gave very sane and sensible advice. I really doubt she was banned and think she simply drifted away.
 
Littlelegs wasn't banned she just stopped posting. I don't think anyone knows why as I think she kept her identity well-hidden but agree I liked her balanced posts and I hope she is Ok and enjoying her life. I believe Shysmum removed herself for reasons which she was fairly open about but I'm not repeating and again I hope she is doing well. DD regularly posts about D and Harley on the Forum FB page.

I don't think there are that many lifetime bans - multiple accounts to cause trouble seems to be the main reason for people being banned permanently. One went because of a post making fun of a man on a train who obviously had some unfortunate issues. It was forumites who wanted that.

shame about little legs she was fun! I wonder if she will ever post again on here just to give a update? I believe DD was banned and then came back again under a different name which h and h found out about. Why do people get another name/account? it seems a bit strange to me.

problem on here (another member)
Regular poster asking under a different name due to not wanting to ask a question with normal name
Bullying ....................................................... I wish Skewby would come back I liked her posts
knowing someone knows your user name and you want to permanantly change it so you don't get traced
bad experiance with a company who found out you post here
 
Is dd the mum with daughter and dolly who became daughter and Harley (and grew about a foot in 8 months?) Wtf did she do to get banned? Soo confused, liked that lovely family and cant recall anything offensive. ever. Or did she leave coz of others? Or is dd someone else that I dont remember?
