So i have been idly being nosey on tack websites pondering the possibility of at some point buying my youngster a bridle… and there are tonnes of black with white padding options… now i was competing in the 80s and for dressage this was all the rage with standy up plaits with white tape wrapped around them (we honestly thought we were cool. But we also went out with perms
and puffball skirts so we were quite obviously wrong) but are all these black and white bridles being pushed on us merely wishful thinking from the merchants or are they back in fashion??

Noooo they should not return they were not nice the first time round 😂

I remember some years back my friend bought a horse and they gave her the horses bridle and it was black with baby pink padding and a baby pink bling browband, I don't know how the pair of us kept a straight face when they handed it to her, we laughed about it for years and I dared her to use it on several occasions 🤣🤣

I wouldn't have one on my boys, but I think on a dark unmarked head (which neither of mine have) they can look quite nice, especially if the head isn't fine.
