New(ish) horse likes to chew. He isn’t destructive (rugs and towels hanging up his stable are left alone) but given half a change and he’ll chew on anything leather by the looks of it.
Bridles or head collars left hanging outside his stable always end up on the floor and now have video evidence of him chewing the reins of his bridle rather absent mindlessly. He’ll also take hold of a sweat scrapper or broom handle for a suck.
Teeth checked recently and has a salt lick which he doesn’t seem interested in. No cribbing or wind sucking either. Are there any chew toys designed for horses? I’ve had an apple ball thing in the past but never had horses interested in them.
I imagine hanging an old stirrup leather up would be a big no incase he ingested any of it?
