Are horses selling at the moment or just certain types?
14.2hh coloured Irish pony. 5 years. Very quiet. Real sweetheart. Hacked and hunted in Ireland. Lovely to do anything with but not sure he is going to make a top competition pony. Would this sort of pony sell at the moment? If so, what sort of price?
Horsemart? Horsequest? Anything else?
Thanks for your help.

Maybe try pony club website. Very cheap to advertise and I would think a pc home would be perfect for your pony and things seem to sell well on there. Good luck!

Which county are you in? I am finding that people are buying multipurpose, so the 15.2 to suit mum and child as opposed to two. Youngstock are slow to move but the market is much busier than this time last year. We have sold a few this week and the calls are still coming, there is hope!!!!

I dont think so

I've been browsing adverts all evening. There seem to still be quite a few that have been significantly dropped in price. Still, I bet the odd ones I like will have gone by the times I'm in a position to buy

I know of 2 PC ponies for sale and neither have gone after several weeks. I think a lot of people don't realise how much prices have dropped in order to make a sale.

My event horse isn't selling. I've had offers, but they have been over £2000 below the asking price, and tbh she is worth more than that, i priced her very realistically after asking all you guys!!!!! And whilst not ideal if the worst comes to the worst I can put her in foal as she is very well bred, and has a lovely temperament. I have the room for her at home, i would just feel a bit bad leaving her with my mum when I move away.

I think ppl are hoping that at this time they will b able to pick up a bargain and give you a cheaky offer, you will b so desperate to finally sell your horse you will accept said offer, and the purchasers leave with a bargain!

Thanks everyone, seems like very mixed opinions depending on type, price ect.
Good luck to those of you who are selling.
I will probably try the PC website.
I was thinking £3K for him so thanks for confirming approx. price.

I think good horses are still selling well.

Agree that some people trying to take the pee with silly offers though.

Lots of older/ unsound/ unrideable/ "problem" horses out there - still for sale!!!!
