Are horses selling?

I've decided to sell my horse due to pregnancy and lack of funds and time.

But are they selling at the moment?

14.2hh Welsh D, 11yo gelding. Needs confident laid back rider. Not nasty. Will go with all English tack and extensive rug wardrobe, plus remaining winter hay and can go with western tack if needed.

Would he sell for a decent price do we think?

ive put a few ads up for my boy (15.2 cob gelding same as yours needs confident rider but never nasty) and have got no response so far, is a good price to, some cobs you see are asking for thousands even during winter!

where have you advertised? i have avoided horsemart as prefer through word of mouth, so ive just done the free ones, giving it till after xmas then he will go on horsemart as that seems to get to a wider audience

I think a lot of it depends on the price, inho many sellers are asking prices that they may have got a few years ago but buyers are just not willing to pay in the current market. Horses are selling but it can take time and winter is never the best time for selling!
