Are KBIS any good for insurance?

As title really!

Want to insure my 8month colt. I'm with NFU with my other boy but they don't seem to be up to their normal standard and I've been fobed off with equine direct to deal with my claim :rolleyes:

KBIS have done me a good quote but would love some feedback please!
 
I have been insured with them and I have just had to claim for loss of use for my mare which is the first time i've claimed within the 6 years, they were very quick and paid my vets bills quick and didn't quibble at all and i'm just waiting for my cheque to come through now as she has been waiting to have the loss of use freeze mark done which was done yesterday and all being well they said I should get my cheque by christmas. So I can recommend them to you as I haven't had an problems with them.
 
Hi Iv not been insured wiht them long but they have been really efficient, and had to deal with 2 different practices, paid out quickly, so would recommend them
 
my horse is insure with kbis, this is the second one insured with them for my JC Showjumper they were cheapest by far and my one i have just insured now they were cheapest by about 80 pounds (not including vets bills)
 
Been with them for years and never had any problems at all. Just be realistic as to the value as like any other company, they'll only pay out market value so if you insure for too much you're wasting your premium money.
 
I have three horses insured with KBIS and have been with them for five or so years. I have unfortunately made a few claims and they have been very helpful and efficient paying my vet direct and very promptly. They also haven't quibbled about anything so I cannot fault them.

I think it really makes a difference that everyone who works there is horsey.
 
Ive made a fair few claims through them, some very very pricey ones and they have always been fair and efficient. Good company, although I havent had much of experience with others as always been with kbis!
 
I've been insured with them for quite a few years and would definately recommend them. Had one rather large claim a couple of years ago and they paid quickly without fuss. Always very friendly and efficient on the phone. My premium has gone down slightly this year too!
 
I have been with them for years. Always been very helpful were very sympathetic when we lost one to grass sickness paid out very quickly.
 
Can only echo what everyone else has said. Haven't claimed much over 5 years, but have paid out promptly and without problems
 
I was insured with them last year and had to make a fairly large claim. They were fantastic, dealt directly with the vet and paid the bills promptly.
I'm with E&I this year as KBIS became very expensive because of my previous claim.
 
Another happy customer! They were lovely when we lost one earlier this year and have never argued over claims.
The 2yo cut himself really badly in September and it was a substantial bill and they paid promptly with no complaints. They are easy to get hold of too and are quick to reply to correspondence.
